Vegan, Sugar-free Peanut Butter Ripple Milkshake recipeMarch 15, 2013
If you’ve ever felt deprived on any sort of diet, then I’m thinking you’ve been following the wrong plan.
Real food is delicious. Real food means satisfaction. Real food means dessert, too!
I don’t care if you are vegan, paleo, an actual primate, whatever. When we eat real food, our body thrives. When we eat processed junk, well…just look around.
Every time I run my 21 Day Detox I get a lot of questions and suspicious looks. What will we be eating? everyone wants to know. And I don’t mind the questions. It gives me the chance to tell you – again – how awesome real food is.
Try this super-easy, detox-friendly milkshake and you’ll see what I’m talking about. No-fuss, simple, yummy, real food.
Peanut Butter Ripple Milkshake
1 cup frozen berries (I used cherries)
3 cups frozen banana chunks
2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or any milk will do)
3 big Tbl. natural peanut butter
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend. (A good blender should also work!)
Try this dessert and let me know what you think! I’d love to see a photo on Instagram and hear if you made any yummy modifications.
p.s. Don’t tell your friends and family that this is detox-friendly until after they rave about how yummy it is.
p.p.s. My Reinvent Yourself 21 Day Detox starts April 7, 2013. Lots more dessert in store
